On Saturday, Aug. 12, Joey Yaman, gym owner of Yeaman Athletics on Southside Drive in Owego, hosted the very first Fitness Challenge to benefit the 30 partner agencies of the Tioga United Way.

The winners for each fitness level were John Schweikart (Advanced), Tommy Woodburn (Intermediate) and Connor Kotski (Beginner).

Confluence Running, Joe Yaman Automotive, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Farmhouse Brewery were some of the sponsors who came out to show their support while the Owego Police Benevolent Association donated quality t-shirts.

The Tioga United Way would like to express heartfelt thanks to Joey Yaman and Tommy Woodburn, as well as all the sponsors, volunteers and participants for making their fundraiser a great success.
