Photo: Rally held in Owego to protest Nazism in America

Following the recent clash in Charlottesville, Va., Stephen Carpineta, the Tioga County Progressive Committee director and communications director for statewide progressive group NYPAN (New York Progressive Action Network), assembled a rally in Owego to protest Nazism in America.  Carpineta stated, “We held Monday’s rally at the county war memorial where dozens of local folks are listed as fallen in combat during WWII, fighting against the same principles of evil which are once again approaching the forefront in our world. Our citizens unequivocally condemn such groups and their hateful actions.” Photo credit: Stephen Carpineta.
