On Aug. 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the 2nd annual Feed the 5000 will take place at the Candor Fire Hall pavilion. Feed the 5000 is a free community event sponsored by several of the churches in Candor, N.Y.
They will have hot dogs, hot and sweet sausage, and hamburgers, salt potatoes, beans, macaroni salad, drinks and desserts. There will be games, face painting, volleyball, Christian bands, a DJ, and a solar eclipse presentation to show how to safely watch a solar eclipse.
All are welcomed to this event.
