The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce was host to a Ribbon Cutting at Hen’s Teeth Primitives last Friday. The business is locally owned by couple Ben and Teresa Warren, who started their business in the basement of their home in 2012.
Ben makes handcrafted furniture and home decor from barn wood and upcycled items in the old chicken barn on the family farm. Teresa paints signs, repurposes items, and paints furniture.
Their new shop’s main focus is on gifts, farmhouse, primitive and country decor. With the help of 16 vendors, the new shop features other items that include salt lamps, essential oils, bath and body products, jewelry, wreaths, food, and many other unique one of a kind items.
Hen’s Teeth Primitives is located at 2217 State Route 17C in Owego. They are open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
