The Owego Gymnastics and Activity Center is holding its annual Captain and Crew golf tournament at Pheasant Hill Country Club on Sunday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m.
Their programs are quickly growing, and the coaches set high standards for the gymnasts. The parents, coaches and board members of Owego Gymnastics work together to exceed these standards, by providing an atmosphere conducive to learning.
The Golf Tournament, organized by volunteers from the gymnasts’ parents, promises to be a large annual fundraiser. The proceeds from this event are used to supplement the capital and programs at the gym. Owego Gymnastics is a non-profit entity; your donation or sponsorship is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
This year they are changing the tournament name to “The Jim and Alice Boland Memorial Golf Tournament”. The Boland’s have been such a big part of the organization since its inception and they would like to make it a tribute to them and how they have helped so many families at Owego Gymnastics.
