Waterman to host Hiawatha Island Father’s Day Breakfast

Climb aboard the pontoon boat for a ride to Hiawatha Island on June 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. as Waterman Conservation Education Center hosts the 27th Annual Hiawatha Island Father’s Day Breakfast. 

While there, explore this unique historical site and wildlife refuge. Enjoy a farm-style breakfast, which includes eggs, bacon, home fries, baked beans, pastries, juice, coffee and tea.  

Space is limited, reservations are required and payment must be received by June 15. The cost is $18 per person or $25 per couple. The cost is $9 for children age five to 12, and five and under are free. 

Parking is at the Waterman Center’s boat dock located on the western end of Marshland Road in Apalachin. The last boat departs for the island at 11 a.m.
