Ceremonies conducted in the town of Nichols

The Wright- Edsall American Legion Post 1624 Color Guard of Nichols, N.Y. conducted ceremonies at the War Memorial and at five local cemeteries in and around the town of Nichols. Participants, from left, are Sargent-at-Arms Chuck Cornell, Auxiliary Historian Dodie Sherman, committee member Rich Olmstead, Commander Frank Sherman, Auxiliary President Gorgieann Olmstead and Post Stewart Cate Babcock. The Post will also be conducting a flag retirement ceremony on June 14 at 7:45 p.m. Any one with worn out flags may drop them off at the Legion, located at 1 Dean St. in Nichols, N.Y.
