Elixir did an amazing performance on Friday, May 19 at Owego’s Originals Bar and Lounge. The popular band includes Marv Williams and Jed Kittle, also of Acoustic Brew; Cookie Baker and Wally J Webster.
They play sounds of jazz and blues, and make an entertaining evening with popular songs like ‘summertime’ and I’m an old Cowhand. The band has played locally in Binghamton and surrounding areas, but is a popular request at Original’s Bar and Lounge.
The band has a uniqueness about them. I love their vocals, which catch your attention, and then Cookie has tassels decorating her guitar which makes the set more colorful and personable to the artist.
Their first song of the night was upbeat and rhythmic and got the crowd tapping and nodding in time to the music, with a huge applause at the end it’s no wonder guests stayed on to listen to more.
The arrangement and set of songs just flowed and made great tunes for spring dining at Originals Bar and Lounge on Lake Street in Owego, N.Y.
Originals Bar and Lounge is a cozy, informal eatery with great food and fabulous entertainment that can make your dining experience not only affordable, but also memorable. There is no cover charge at Originals and their dinner prices are fair, but the entertainment is out of this world.
