The streets in the village of Owego, N.Y. will be filled with music and magic on June 16 as the Strawberry Festival Block Party kicks off at 5 p.m. From poi spinning to three separate stages of music surrounded by magic in the streets, the block party offers a unique cultural experience this year as well as plenty of music and food – all culminating with fireworks over the river at 10 p.m.

For this year’s event, a lineup including Wreckless Marci, The Gents, Making the Band, Laughing Buddha Episodes, Several Sons, Four Eye Band and others will take to three stages for music performances.

To blend in with the music, the Digital Circus out of Philadelphia, Pa. will be bringing their shows to the Strawberry Festival Block Party, and will be back on Saturday as well for the main festival event.

The Digital Circus offers artists dedicated to bringing guests the “beautiful, the strange, and the unreal.”

In collaboration with light shows offered by companies such as ISpinToys and flow artists with heart, the group combines to present as the Digital Circus.

On June 16, their poi and flow will be choreographed, in part, with the music of Wreckless Marci for a colorful display. The Digital Circus will also present magic and illusions featuring Michael St. James, the successor to the Harry Houdini and Hardeen show.

Friday night’s event will offer a unique experience, not to be missed.
