National Day of Prayer

The first Thursday in May is set aside by the President of the United States as the National Day of Prayer.

This year the area churches of Owego will commemorate the National Day of Prayer on May 4, from 6 to 7 p.m. on the courthouse lawn in Owego.

Clergy from various churches will pray for our nation, state, county, towns and villages.

All are encouraged to attend and participate by joining together with Christians to pray for our country, counties and communities.
