Cornell Cooperative Extenstion (CCE) Tioga welcomes Melissa Watkins to their staff as 4-H Youth Development Resource Educator. She brings with her an excitement for youth, 4-H and Youth Development programs.

Watkins comes to CCE Tioga from the 4-H Program in Cayuga County, where she was a 4-H Youth Development Educator for eight and a half years and working with teen programming, healthy living, STEM, natural resources and civic engagement.

In 2014, Watkins earned her Masters’ Degree in Recreation from SUNY Cortland.

Outside of 4-H, Watkins is most likely volunteering, knitting, reading, enjoying the outdoors, or spending with her husband Paul and her dog, Mylee.
