The United Methodist Women of the Apalachin United Methodist Church, located at 303 Pennsylvania Ave. in Apalachin, will offer a free Health Fair to the community on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The health fair will include the Lourdes Mammography Van, eye testing by the Apalachin Lions Club and a blood drive. Pre-registration for the blood drive can be made by contacting Karen at 625-2733, 625-2128 or by email to apalachinumc@nyc.twcbc.com.
There will be cooking classes for children at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pre-registration for the cooking classes can be made by contacting Donna at 205-9051 or by email to tarsiad@gmail.com.
There will be many other activities, and the church’s free Clothing Closet and Library will also be open to serve those in need.
