Xcite Wrestling partners with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies for June 3 event

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, in partnership with Xcite Wrestling, are proud to announce a live pro wrestling doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium on Saturday, June 3, prior to their 7:05 p.m. contest with the Portland Sea Dogs. Bell time is scheduled for 2 p.m. with gates opening at 1:30 p.m. 

Tickets for this all-ages event are on sale now via BingRP.com and XciteWrestling.com, or by calling the Rumble Ponies Executive Offices at (607) 722-FUNN (3866). A full lineup of wrestlers scheduled to appear will be announced at a later date. 

Ticket prices are $20 for General Admission and also include a Reserved Grandstand ticket to the Rumble Ponies game that night. All fans wishing to attend the Xcite Wrestling show must purchase the special doubleheader ticket and discounts are available to Rumble Club members. 

Limited concession stands will be open throughout the event and following conclusion of the wrestling card, there will be an exclusive after party with live music, drink specials and meet and greet opportunities with the wrestlers from 5 to 6 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather, all tickets will be honored for the rain date of Sunday, June 4, with the Xcite Wrestling show following the conclusion of the Rumble Ponies game. 

Xcite Wrestling has been the premier independent pro wrestling promotion in the Southern Tier since 2012 and prides itself on its roster of established and up-and-coming talent. Over the past five years, Xcite events have featured well-known wrestlers such as Cody Rhodes, John Morrison, Matt Hardy and Steve Corino, as well as current WWE stars Luke Gallows, Luke Harper, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and Drew Gulak. 

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are the proud AA Eastern League affiliate of the New York Mets. The team kicked off their inaugural season on April 13 at NYSEG Stadium. Season tickets, Flex Books and Mini Plans for the 2017 Season are on-sale now. 

Xcite Wrestling and the Rumble Ponies are very excited to announce WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat as part of the Xcite Wrestling event at NYSEG Stadium on June 3. General admission is $20, which includes a ticket to the wrestling event and the Rumble Ponies game.

The main event will be for the Xcite Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. 

Champion Greg Xcellent will put the title on the line against Binghamton’s own Sean Carr, fresh off his appearance in the 2017 Ring of Honor Top Prospect Tournament. The match will have a twist, however; to ensure no outside interference, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat” will be the Special Ringside Enforcer.

Other local featured competitors involved in this landmark event include Axel Lennox, Luke Babcock, Rottmare, Lil Daddy C, Rob Cook, Brooklyn Joe, and Owego’s own LJ Thomas.
