Shelter Slam event to take place at Endwell Greens

On April 8, Shelter Slam, a music event organized by Owego resident John Delola that benefits animal rescue organizations, locally, will take place at Endwell Greens Golf Club beginning at noon and will feature over 19 bands. 

Admission to the event is $10, or an equivalent dollar amount in pet food. 

Bands featured this year include Hotdogs and Gin, Parlor Cats, Drama Scream, Wreckless Marci, The Gents, and others.

This event will benefit local rescue organizations including Willows Wings, Pibbles and More, the Binghamton Humane Society, and other groups that assist homeless and rescued animals.

There will be cash prizes at this year’s event of $400, $300 and $200. To learn more, visit www.shelterslam.com.
