Two arrested in Owego for theft

On Feb. 17, the Owego Police Department arrested Katelyn J. Miller, age 28 of Owego, N.Y. and Brooks R. York, age 35 of Owego, N.Y. for several charges in relation to a reported larceny of $21,500 in cash from Ben Weitsman and Son on West Main Street in Owego.

Miller was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony; Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony; and Conspiracy in the 5th Degree, a misdemeanor.

York was charged with Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony; Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class E Felony; and Conspiracy in the 5th Degree, a misdemeanor.

York was arraigned in the Village of Owego Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $10,0000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Miller was arraigned in the Town of Owego Court by Justice Hogan and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on $2,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.

    We find out what Happened as far as their sentencing goes?
