Tioga Downs names Stephanie Rogers Director of Sales

Tioga Downs Casino, in Nichols, N.Y., recently announced Stephanie Rogers as their new Director of Sales.

Rogers brings a variety of experience in hospitality, most recently having worked for a national hotel chain and a well-known New York resort and conference center. She is a member of ESSAE (Empire State Society of Association Executives) and MPI (Meeting Planners International). She currently lives in Vestal, N.Y. with her husband, and their son and dog.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join such a dynamic team with a grand vision for the future of Tioga Downs,” said Rogers. 

She added, “With a build out of the additional amenities for our world-class gaming and entertainment complex, there is a lot of work to do ahead of us, but I know we’ll be able to reach those goals.”

Tioga Downs is home to a multitude of entertainment experiences. Beyond the casino, there are seven different restaurant and bar options, and there are live bands every weekend at Virgil’s LIVE and The Sideshow Lounge. 

Additionally, Tioga Downs includes a 5/8-mile harness racetrack that hosts live harness racing every year from May through September and year-round simulcasting of top thoroughbred and harness racing from around the continent. 

Late last year, Tioga Downs celebrated its tenth anniversary. They also opened a new casino in December, which features 33 table games including Blackjack, Craps and Roulette, as well as popular casino games like Pai Gow Poker, Let It Ride, 3-Card and 4-Card Poker, and the Big 6 Wheel.

With a commercial gaming license now officially granted and the casino open, Tioga Downs is continuing to push forward on the build out of the additional amenities for its gaming and entertainment complex. These include a hotel, spa, additional restaurant, events and convention center and more.
