In conjunction with their “For You, My Love” vendor and craft show fundraiser held last Saturday, the VFW’s Auxiliary shared their love by collecting personal items for Tioga County Rural Ministry (TCRM). The auxiliary also donated the proceeds from their basket raffle to the ministry.
The love was also extended with assistance being provided by the auxiliary to Girl Scout Troop #686 in an effort to promote their upcoming cookie sales.
The VFW Auxiliary actively participates in programs within the Department of New York that include veterans and family support, Americanism, legislative efforts, scholarships and youth activities.
The VFW Auxiliary is now gender friendly and invites all family members, men or women, of overseas veterans to join them in their mission of unwavering support for area veterans and their families.
