Tioga Opportunities, Inc. offers ‘Medication Safety’ in Owego and Spencer

Medications are often an important part of our lives and can help us manage all kinds of conditions, relieve pain and keep us active. It’s important to remember that all medicines have risks, especially among older adults who take more medications than any other age group in the United States. Older adults are also more likely to experience serious adverse side effects such as dizziness, falls, confusion, and depression.

Join Tioga Opportunities, Inc. at one of two presentations offered by Trinity-CASA in Tioga County. The first will be held on Feb. 13, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Countryside Community Center located at 9 Sheldon Guile Boulevard in Owego. Or you can attend a session on Feb. 24, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Community & Fitness Center in Spencer, located at 57 E. Tioga St.

Call (607) 687-4120, ext. 331 to reserve your seat at this informational presentation.
