On Jan. 27, 2017, in Tioga County Court, Joseph G. Sindoni, Jr., age 31 of Waverly, N.Y. accepted a plea bargain from the Tioga County District Attorney’s Office and plead guilty to five counts of Burglary in the 2nd degree, one count of Attempted Burglary in the 2nd degree, and one count of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree.

According to a release received by the district attorney’s office on Monday, the charges resulted from numerous home burglaries that were committed across Tioga County, one of which included stealing guns.

As a result of his plea, Sindoni will receive a total of 16 and a half to 18 years in State prison.

The defendant remains in the Tioga County Jail without bail awaiting sentencing.
