Update: The New York State Police in Endwell have located Allyson Cheechalk-Buttman, the 22-year-old Town of Union woman who was reported missing on Dec. 29. 

Cheechalk-Buttman was located out-of-state and spoke with troopers over the phone. 

Local authorities assisted New York State Police by confirming her identity and verifying that she appeared to be in good health.  

The New York State Police in Endwell are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 22-year-old female town of Union resident.   

New York State Police were called to a residence on Nanticoke Drive in the town of Union after Allyson Cheechalk-Buttman was reported missing by her mother.  She left her residence sometime between 5:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. on Dec. 29, 2016. 

According to police, it appears that she left her home voluntarily and may have traveled by bus to New York City, but her family has not heard from her since last Thursday.  

Cheechalk-Buttman was last seen wearing a light brown coat, green fleece, dark pants and black sneakers. She is a white female, 5’6”, 160 pounds, with brown-hazel eyes and medium brown hair.

The public is asked to call the State Police at (607) 775-1241 if they have any information concerning the whereabouts of Cheechalk-Buttman.
