$10,000 reward offered in hit-and-run death of Binghamton University student

A $10,000 reward is being offered by Binghamton University and the city of Binghamton to anyone who has information that leads to the apprehension of the driver of the vehicle that hit and killed 20-year-old Stefani Lineva, a Binghamton University student and member of the University’s tennis team.
 
The Binghamton University community suffered a tragic loss this weekend when Lineva died as the result of a hit-and-run accident. Binghamton Police are investigating, with assistance from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and New York State University Police at Binghamton.
 
The accident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, in the eastbound lane of Route 434, the Vestal Parkway, near the intersection of South Washington Street and the Pennsylvania Avenue ramp.
