The Owego Lions Club recently presented a check to the Angels Over Iraq & Afghanistan at their monthly meeting. Becca Hawkins, member, spoke to the Owego Lions Club about the history of their organization and its mission. Members of the Lions Club also collected many requested items to send in the care packages to the soldiers.
As the holidays are fast approaching, both the monetary and supply donations are greatly appreciated. The Angels thank the Owego Lions Club for their generous donation.

Angels over Iraq and Afghanistan is a not for profit organization formed in 2006, and is comprised of youth from Tioga County, N.Y. The group sends care packages to deployed soldiers stationed overseas serving our country.
