The Candor Community Chorus will usher in the winter holiday season with their concert, “Beautiful December” on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Candor High School Auditorium, Academy Street.

The program celebrates the holidays with selections ranging from contemporary pieces such as “A Winter Day” to the spirit-filled “Tell it on the Mountain” and “Bright Star Shining”. The program features old favorites as well. Intermission will feature a sing-a-long of Christmas carols as well as a raffle for gift baskets.

Dave Jackson directs the program accompanied by Brenda Yeier at the piano. Jewel Griffith joins Yeier for a fourhanded accompaniment on a particularly lively melody.

Admission is free, but the chorus gratefully accepts donations to support their music library and scholarship program.
