The Helping Hands Food Pantry of Berkshire is now accepting names for Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes at the Food Pantry during regular weekly hours and during the Senior Pantry in October. You can also Joan at 657-2501 or Emily at 657-8158.
There will be no sign-ups after Nov. 12 for Thanksgiving, or Dec. 10 for Christmas boxes. Each family should sign up for themselves. Sign up once for both holiday boxes.
Pickup days are the Saturday before the holidays – Nov. 19 and Dec. 17. Pick up times will be assigned at the time of signup due to limited parking. If someone else is picking up the holiday box, please provide written permission.
Anyone interested in volunteering for packing or distributing boxes should call Emily or Joan, or leave your name and phone number at the pantry during regular hours. A monetary donation to help defray the costs of providing these boxes is always appreciated.
Regular pantry hours are Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be no Senior Pantry in November or December.
