The Owego Lions Club held their annual Chinese Auction on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Countryside Community Center in Owego. The club members would like to express their gratefulness and thanks to all the local businesses who donated items, gift cards, or money for this event. They also want to thank their family and friends for the many donations of various kinds of items that were auctioned. Especially, they would like to thank all the people in the community for coming out to support this fundraiser.
The Owego Lions Club uses all money raised from their fundraisers to help the community. The club provides eyeglasses for those in need. They support Camp Ahwaga, Blizzard Boxes, Tioga County Rural Ministry, OFA Chem Free Prom, and many other projects.
