Lourdes Hospital invites area women to the Celebration of Women event planned for Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Traditions at the Glen located at 4101 Watson Blvd. in Johnson City.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this evening is designed specifically for women to relax, enjoy themselves and have fun with their mothers, daughters or girlfriends.
The evening will include a fashion show, mini-manicures, door prizes, raffles, shopping and refreshments. There will also be health information from Lourdes and information from many community vendors. Breast Cancer Survivor Heroes will also be honored at the event.

There will be a $5 donation at the door to directly benefit the Geller Fund which addresses extraordinary financial needs of cancer patients receiving treatment at Lourdes Regional Cancer Center and at Broome Oncology.
