OA Schools recently announced that it has won an Award of Merit in this year’s annual New York School Public Relations Association’s communications awards contest, for the video entitled “There’s No Place Like Home.”
The video told the story of Owego Elementary School and its people, from the flood of September 2011, to the return of our students, faculty and staff, to a new OES in January of this year.
Winning the award were Stephen Jensen, communications coordinator for OA Schools (writer, director, photographer for the video); Jimmie Buyck, BT-BOCES videographer (videographer, editor for the video); and Amy Knisely communications coordinator for Chenango Forks schools (narrator for the video).
