Elder Abuse and Scam seminar was informative

An enormous thank you to the staff of Tioga Opportunities, Inc. Department of Aging in Owego for the excellent program exploring the many aspects of Elder Abuse and Scams which was held at the Treadway Inn on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

A mixed audience of more than 80 people included the general public, employees from local agencies and retirees.

The panel leaders shared their expertise in depth and the entire program was very enlightening.

The knowledge and strategies that were shared are applicable to all adults throughout their life. This special conference was funded by Lifespan of Greater Rochester N.Y., Inc. and was a success on many levels.
