The Guthrie Allergy, Dermatology, and Diabetes / Endocrinology teams are joined by community leaders, Aaron Amspacker, Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, Representative Tina Pickett, and Sayre Mayor Denny Thomas to cut the ribbon for the new center.
Guthrie is proud to announce the opening of its new Guthrie Desmond Street practice for Allergy, Dermatology and Diabetes/Endocrinology in Sayre, Pa.
Guthrie hosted a ribbon cutting and open house at the facility on Thursday, June 2. The office will open to Allergy, Dermatology and Endocrinology patients on Monday, June 6.
Dr. Joseph Scopelliti, Guthrie CEO said, “Guthrie is not only proud because we are helping to revitalize the downtown Sayre area, but because we are bringing our patients subspecialty care in a convenient, stand-alone facility that will serve patients from across the Twin Tiers region and beyond.”
The facility will allow patients in each of these specialty areas access to care from their Guthrie providers in a convenient location. “This location will be particularly well suited for patients who require extensive or ongoing outpatient care for conditions like diabetes or allergies, and the needs of our patients are at the center of all we do,” said Dr. Dwight Stapleton, chairman of the Guthrie Department of Medicine.
