East Coat Pro Wrestling presents Glen Post - This is YOUR Life 2

East Coat Pro Wrestling presents Glen Post - This is YOUR Life 2East Coast Pro Wrestling Showcase has announced fresh off their Stand Up and Fight weekend that they will be holding the second “Glen Post: This is Your Life” on June 25 to pay tribute to ECPW manager, “The Cruisin’ Cripple” Glen Post. The event will take place at the Cortland County Junior Fairgrounds located at 4292 Fairgrounds Rd.

Glen Post has managed his fair share of matches in East Coast Pro Wrestling, leading teams like The Unemployment Line to the ring and most notably his brother, “Average Joe” Post. Glen does all of this remarkably while in a wheel chair. He hasn’t let his disability get in the way of his dreams of being in the professional wrestling business and alongside his brother “Average” Joe Post, the two have developed a following in Cortland.

“I honestly don’t know what to say” Glen Post told 3Ropes.com. “It was a total shock but it means a lot that they’d do this.”

The first Glen Post: This Is Your Life was held on June 29, 2012 in Cortland. The Main Event saw ECPW Showcase Champion Lil Daddy C defeat “The German Menace” Kraig Stagg in a tough, hard-nosed match. However, it could be argued that the high point of the show came earlier in the night. It was on this night, at the Cortland County Fairgrounds, that Glen Post did his best work. Managing his brother “Average” Joe Post to a CPW Championship win over the hated Mr Saturday Night in a night that saw Average Joe hoisted on the shoulders of the Unemployment Line in one of the feel good moments of 2012 for ECPW. “Mr Saturday Night” has bashed the fans beforehand and put the title of CPW on the line in an ECPW ring that night claiming nobody would be able to take it from him. The Post brothers proved that theory wrong.

It is now four years later. A lot has happened since then, and the rebranded ECPW: Showcase rolls into Cortland on June 25 after a strong Stand Up and Fight Weekend and a showing in East Stroudsburg, Pa. that debuts Tim Donst, Brute Van Slyke and Dasher Hatfield, and returns another client of Ian Daddybones’ in Marc Hauss. Hauss returns to ECPW after many years and last seen as “Every Ladies Dream” Mark Kreiger. Hauss has matured a lot since then and has taken a more serious approach en route to a more successful singles career and a stay atop Xcite Wrestling as their champion, only to lose it to an injury that sidelined him indefinitely.

The card headlines the former “Enterprize”, Rob Cook and Lil Daddy C as they take on the Jonny Moose put together team of Draven and Big Papa Chill – two guys who beat the bloody hell (literally) out of one another on April 1 at Stand Up and Fight. Other matches see #1 Contender for the United States championship Axel Lennox challenging Maximo Suave, Marc Hauss vs. Brute Van Slyke and “The Future is Now” Luke Babcock taking on “The Hybrid” Sean Carr in a match for the United States Championship.

This year’s Glen Post: This is Your Life looks to be another strong showing in 2016 from a company rebranding itself, and for a guy who’s well deserving of the recognition. This could quite honestly be the best card top to bottom that ECPW has put out in sometime – Stand Up and Fight included. Get your tickets today.
