The Angels Over Afghanistan and Iraq will be having their annual yard sale on Aug. 12 and 13 at the United Methodist Church located at 261 Main St. in Owego. They are currently accepting clean and nearly new items for this fundraiser, which can be dropped off at 48 Talcott St. in Owego.
The Angels have been able to send care packages to deployed soldiers for over ten years because of the community support they receive. The yard sale is their biggest fundraiser.
