The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce announces that the next Human Resources Roundtable is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 in the Winner’s Circle Lounge at Tioga Downs Casino located at 2384 West River Rd. in Nichols, N.Y. The event begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 9:30 a.m.
This is the 41st in a series of Human Resources Panel Discussions to benefit businesses in Tioga County, N.Y. The title of the session is “Employee Drug Use: Evolving Concerns with Prescription Drug Abuse, Opioids, Medical Marijuana and Beyond.”
The moderator for the event is Jim Franz, attorney for Hinman, Howard and Kattell, LLP. Panelists include Mary Hughes, chief Human Resources officer at Lourdes Hospital; Carrie Govas LMSW, SAP – Employee Network, Inc.; Terry McSorley, MSW – Employee Network, Inc.; and Dawn Lanouette, attorney for Hinman, Howard and Kattell, LLP.
The event is free of charge to Tioga Chamber members. Supervisors, owners, human resources managers and staff members of any business are encouraged to attend. The Human Resources Roundtable is geared toward businesspersons with varying levels of personnel management training and experience.
