Two inductees have been selected for the Owego Apalachin Wall of Fame. The 2016 inductees are Shirley Jackson and Harold Murray.
Jackson was an OFA student and volunteer. She was an excellent role model.
Murray graduated from OFA with the Class of 1944. He was a student and volunteer, and was an elected official.
The induction ceremony / dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15 at Owego Free Academy. Appetizers will be available at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. The induction ceremony will begin at 6:45 p.m.
The cost is $30 per person, with entrée choices of sage and cranberry stuffed chicken breast or vegetable lasagna.
Reservations are due by Friday, May 20, with maximum seating for 75 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
