Broom sales continue

It’s time again for the Apalachin Lions Annual Broom Sale. This is their Community Service fundraiser, and all proceeds go to community and humanitarian projects.

They will be selling door-to-door in the Greater Apalachin area over May 9, 10, 11 and 12. This covers Apalachin and Campville in Tioga County, and Little Meadows, Pa.

The items being sold include brooms, cleaning cloths, sponges, grill brushes and dusters. All are quality products and make great gifts.

Each year the Lions typically contribute over $25,000 to help local residents. Activities include Disaster Relief, Scholarships to high school seniors, Special Olympics, Highway Cleanup, Christmas Baskets, Santa Phones, Easter Egg Hunt, Eye Screening for pre-schoolers, Eye Exams and Glasses, Emergency Expense Assistance, and Back-To-School gift certificates.

The Apalachin Lions are only able to serve the community because the community supports them. They ask everyone to please be generous in supporting their Annual Broom Sale.
