First Friday events at the Tioga History Museum

The Tioga History Museum is pleased to announce special events during the “Quilts by the River” Exhibition. On Friday, April 1, join them for a “First Friday” demonstration.

Quilting extraordinaire Karen Miller will have a trunk show and demonstration on wool applique starting at 6 p.m. On Saturday, April 2, Virginia Scarpino will be providing tips and tricks to using colors in quilts. That demonstration will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.

Join them on Saturdays throughout the show (and the occasional Friday) through April 30, for special demonstrations by local quilting professionals. Demos are $10 per class. Check out their demo schedule on their Facebook page and on their website, tiogahistory.org.
