Women’s Self-Defense Take Action! Series

Fay’s Fitness is offering a new self-defense four class series for women. The class will be held on Thursdays beginning March 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. at their facility in Candor.

Take Action! Series will teach how to strike with power and accuracy, disable an attacker and escape unharmed. March 10 will feature Basics of Punching and Kicking, March 17 will feature Working the Punch Mitts (you may have seen Biggest Loser contestants do this with their trainers), March 24 will feature The Heavy Bag: Your BFF in Training, and March 31 will feature More Punching and Kicking.

The cost is $10 per class, or $40 for the series. Sign up for one or all. Class size is limited and advance signup is required. Women age 11 and up are invited to participate.
