The club members will be demonstrating lapidary skills. Junior members will be operating the mini-mine. Children watch as a mine car brings treasure up from the mine for them.

Club members will be exhibiting their personal mineral, fossil and lapidary collections. The Carnegie Museum will be presenting a collection of beautiful minerals to dazzle the eyes. The Paleontological Resource Institute Museum of the Earth will present an interesting collection.

UVBob has announced that he will be presenting his very interesting program on fluorescent minerals. Club member Tom will be cutting geodes that the club has for sale.

A variety of dealers will be on hand to sell minerals, fossils, gems, lapidary and jewelry. They will be able to assist you with any questions you might have concerning your purchases.

The Che-Hanna Rock and Mineral Club is a 501 (c) 3 not for profit club. They meet at the Sayre High School Cafeteria on the second Wednesday of the months of January through May and September through November. They have picnics in the summer and a Christmas party in December. Visitors are always welcome.
