The Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation is offering the following 2016 scholarships to graduating Owego Free Academy students: The David P. Beere Family Scholarship, The Harriet and Charles Hibberd Bassett Scholarship, The Robert V. R. Bassett Scholarship and The Louise and Robert Woodburn Family Scholarship.
Application forms are available in the OFA guidance office. The Bassett-Hall Youth Lacrosse Plus Awards will be given to selected members of the OFA Boys and Girls Lacrosse Teams. Nomination forms are available through the team coaches and the OFA Athletic Director. The 2016 Youth Volunteer and Beautification Grant applications are now available for youth community volunteer service activities and projects. Grant applications are available from the Foundation and due no later than April 1.
All scholarships, awards and grants will be presented on Friday, May 20 at the Bassett Ah-Wa-Ga Center at 34 1/2 Lake St. in Owego. For more information contact Bob Bassett at chbyouthfoundation37@gmail.com.
