Edward and Jennie Hirthler of Glen Aubrey announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Hirthler to Darin Welch.
The future bridegroom is the son of Thelma Welch of Newark Valley. He attended Newark Valley School and is employed at Open Door Mission.
The bride attended Whitney Point School and is employed at Riverview Manor.
The wedding is planned for May 2016.
