The Nichols Cemetery Association would like to say thank you to all who helped with our cemetery in Nichols, N.Y. in any way this past year. Volunteers and community service people helped with spring cleanup and grounds keeping throughout the summer.
One old shed that was beyond repair was torn down and the ground graded and seeded. The Town of Nichols donated a good, used pole barn/shed to us. It was torn down on location and rebuilt at the cemetery with volunteer and community service labor. With a lot of donated finishing materials the total cost to the cemetery was under $1,000 for steel roofing and siding.
We have had monetary donations from so many generous people. With everyone’s help we have a very nice looking cemetery. Once again, our thanks to everyone for all of your support. Watch for our spring cleanup newsletter in April.
