Take a Stroller Safari at the Binghamton Zoo

Gather up your little ones and take them to the Binghamton Zoo for Stroller Safaris sponsored by Valley Dental Pediatrics. This one and a half hour program includes a special zookeeper talk, an up close animal encounter, and an activity page to take home.

The events will take place on Monday, Sept. 28, when the Barnyard – Zookeeper will talk about the barnyard animals and will bring out grain for kids to feed the animals.

On Wednesday, Sept. 30, the Penguins – Zookeeper will give the penguins their morning fish and bring bubbles for enrichment.

On Friday, Oct. 2, the Andean Bear – Zookeeper will talk about the Andean bear and give her lunch.

On Monday, Oct. 5, the Porcupine – Zookeeper will talk about the zoo’s baby porcupine (born on June 21) and give her morning diet.

On Wednesday, Oct. 7, the Red Panda – Zookeeper will talk about the red pandas and give them enrichment items.

On Friday, Oct. 9, the Amur Tigers will receive enrichment with a zookeeper talk.

Each Stroller Safari starts at 10 a.m. at the Binghamton Zoo ticket booth. This program is for children one to four years of age and their parents. Regular admission rates apply. A limited number of strollers are available for rental for $2. No registration is required.
