State Police arrest Owego man for driving while impaired by drugs after injuring himself in a pickup truck crash

On July 24, 2015, at about 6:27 a.m., New York State Police at Owego arrested Michael D. Henry, 31, of Owego, N.Y. (pictured) for the misdemeanor of Driving While Impaired by Drugs and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.

On July 24, 2015, at about 6:27 a.m., New York State Police at Owego arrested Michael D. Henry, 31, of Owego, N.Y. for the misdemeanor of Driving While Impaired by Drugs and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.

This arrest occurred after a Trooper responded to a Tioga County 911 report of an automobile accident on West Main Street, in the Town of Owego.

An investigation determined that he was driving while impaired by drugs when he crashed his pickup truck into a tree just off the road. Also, Michael D. Henry was allegedly found to unlawfully possess a small amount of marihuana.

He was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. While there he allowed his blood to be tested for drugs but the lab results are pending.

Michael D. Henry was issued tickets to appear in the Town of Owego Court on Aug. 6, 2015.
