Calling all artists within an 18-mile radius of Newark Valley for Newark Valley Days, planned for Aug. 7 and 8. The Newark Valley Historical Society Celebrations Committee is sponsoring their annual art show, providing an opportunity for local artists to display their work during Newark Valley Days.
The artwork will be on display as part of Newark Valley Days in the Rollie Noble Room in the Municipal Building in Newark Valley on Friday, Aug. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The art show is open to all adult artists who live within 18 miles of Newark Valley. All work must be original. No work made from commercially sold kits or casts are acceptable.
If you intend to offer your work for sale, you must be prepared to display your New York State tax-exempt certificate. Due to limited space, each artist will be allowed to show three pieces.
Artwork will be juried and four cash prizes will be awarded.
