Candor’s Cub Scout Pack #42 hold crossover ceremony for a Webelo Scout Tommy Husband, who was moving up to Candor’s Boy Scout Troop #42. The ceremony was held during their recent Blue & Gold Banquet.

Candor Cub Scout Pack #42 had their Blue & Gold Banquet at the Candor Masonic Lodge in May. The room was decorated for the occasion and there was plenty of food to go around. The festive atmosphere made the day special for the many awards and recognitions that were handed out.

There was a newly built bridge by Cub Scout leaders / parents for the Crossing over ceremony. This ceremony is for the second year Webelos and their families advancing from Cub Scouts up to Boy Scouts. Each plank has a point of the Boy Scout Oath painted on it. The bridge was beautiful and gave special meaning to the ceremony.

Some of Boy Scout Troop #42 members were present to perform the Crossover Ceremony. This year Boy Scout Troop #42 has the pleasure of welcoming Tommy Husband and his family. Ethan Wilcox (Tenderfoot Rank), Adam Wilcox (SPL – Star Rank), and David Sandgren (Life Rank) are the Boy Scouts that performed the crossover ceremony to welcome Tommy.

A lot of hard work and loving care went into the preparation of this Blue & Gold Banquet. Thank is extended to all the families, volunteers, and community members for supporting Scouting in your community.
