The Park Settlement Bridge over the Owego Creek is closed until further notice. In an announcement made Friday of the closure, it was noted that inspection of the bridge has shown steel pile deterioration.
Based on the level of deterioration present the bridge is closed to vehicular traffic until a repair can be made. Local traffic will have to travel Lord Road then South on Anderson Hill Road to NYS Route 96.
