Every hero has a story in Richford and Berkshire

Children age five to 12 are invited to hear the stories of local heroes during the Berkshire Free Library’s Summer Reading Program. Games, crafts, and other fun activities will be offered Thursdays, July 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Library and the Berkshire Fire Station. The program will also be offered during the Richford Summer Youth Program.

Young people are also encouraged to sign up to win prizes through Independent Reading at both the Library and the Richford Summer Youth Program.

In conjunction with the program, a free family program with “PopArt” artist Michael Albert will be presented Tuesday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Berkshire Fire Station. All northern Tioga area families are invited to participate.

The BOOKS Program with Senator Libous and in partnership with Morrisville State College sponsors the summer programs.
