Main Event Amusements has been selected as the company to provide rides at this year’s Tioga County Fair planned for July 7-11 at the Tioga County Fairgrounds at Marvin Park, in Owego, N.Y. The carnival rides open at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

By special arrangement with Main Event Amusements, unlimited rides will be available Wednesday through Saturday for $10.00 each day. Children must be at least 36-inches tall to ride any Main Event device. Main Event is excited to be offering new rides in 2015 including Bumper Cars, The Zipper, and the ever-popular Scrambler.

Main Event Amusements was founded in 2002 in Solvay, N.Y. The owners have more than 30 years of experience in mobile concessions and are members of the New York State Show Peoples Association and the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs.

They showcase an array of rides, with signature pieces such as the Arctic Blast and the Merry Go Round, as well as many food and game concessions. Their season runs from May to October, and they play spots that range from one-day festivals to six-day fairs from Albany, N.Y. all the way to Buffalo, N.Y. They also have an ATM available on the midway.

They have a few new rides for the 2015 season to include Bumper Cars, the Scrambler, the Zipper, and the Spin The Apples.
