This past week, Senator Libous returned to the Senate for Legislative Session. In the past few months Senator Libous had two back surgeries and a staph infection that kept him away from the Senate Chamber.
During his absence he was in touch with Senate colleagues, staff, and voters in his district by phone and by email.
“It’s been a tough road to recovery, and my back is still healing, but I’m feeling very blessed to be able to return to work and help finish this year’s Legislative Session,” said Senator Libous.
He added, “Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes. They’ve truly helped me.”
