According to the National Weather Service, a thunderstorm was anticipated to hit the area up until 8:41; and it did arrive, and it packed a punch.
After the storms went through, trees were downed, and areas of poor drainage experienced flash flooding.
Although a tornado warning was also in place, there is no confirmation that this damage was caused by a tornado outbreak.
Be cautious if traveling, and never try to drive through flooded roads. This could be very dangerous.
