Scout Troop tours the Open Door MissionThe Tioga County Open Door Mission is thankful to a local Cub Scout group, pack 37 and 50, for stopping by for a tour of their facility. Earlier this month, Janette, London and Noah Artley, Melody, Donald and Amanda Cardone, as well as Jon Davis learned more about the Mission and the different ways the Mission serves the community through their food pantry, outreach programs and homeless shelter.

The Mission is proud to have wonderful community minded children’s groups such as the Cub Scouts in the area. If you are interested in knowing more about the Tioga County Open Door Mission’s work, stop by their 425 North Ave., Owego facility for a tour anytime.

The Mission is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is open on Thursday until 8 p.m. Call (607) 687-1121 for more information.
